When Joan White and Dr. Ted Phillips meet at a car rental counter at
Denver International Airport, neither could begin to guess that this encounter would be the origin of a new beginning for each of them
Joan was returning home from a broken heart experience that had caused her to vow that she would not let another man steal her heart again. Ted was traveling to Joan’s home town to see if he could find a place for him to start a new life. After two broken love affairs, he too had firm convictions regarding a ‘no women’ intrusion into his life.
When Ted and Joan become friends, many of the residents of
Tri-County, Coloradothink that a romance is budding, but both of them repeatedly tell others that such is not the case.
